About Ethicality
Ethicality is an independent certification body for the transparent, human-led use of artificial intelligence. We publish the Ethicality AI Use Standard (EAUS), assess how organizations use AI against its fifteen requirements, and maintain a public registry where anyone can check a certificate number.

Our mission is simple: using AI at work is normal, and being open about it should be too. Businesses, startups and professional firms use the Ethicality Badge to show clients, customers and partners that sensitive information stays out of unapproved tools, that people are told when AI meaningfully contributed, and that important decisions stay with people.
Certification
What we assess.
Ethicality certification is not a legal compliance certificate and not an audit. It confirms that an organization has attested to, and been assessed on, the practices in the standard. Certification officers are not paid based on whether an organization qualifies.
