Aiden Muscovitch is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ethicality and Chair of its Board, where he leads the organisation's strategy and the development of the EUMS standard for AI governance.

Studying Ethics, Society and Law at the University of Toronto, Aiden has built experience across public policy, journalism, and Parliament. He serves in the House of Commons supporting Michael Chong, Canada's Foreign Affairs Critic, on communications, policy research, and stakeholder engagement. Previously, he spent several years at The Hub, working under the mentorship of publisher and Munk Debates chair Rudyard Griffiths and editor-at-large Sean Speer, former senior economic policy adviser to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, while contributing to and helping shape influential coverage of Canadian politics and public affairs. His work has also included producing the Munk Debates' Friday Focus podcast and collaborating with leading thinkers in Canadian public policy.

Across these roles, Aiden has focused on a common question: how institutions build, maintain, and lose public trust. Ethicality applies that experience to one of the defining challenges of our time: ensuring artificial intelligence develops in ways that are transparent, accountable, and worthy of public confidence.

Oren Auerbach

CFO & Vice Chair of the Board

Oren Auerbach

Oren Auerbach is the Chief Financial Officer of Ethicality and Vice Chair of its Board. He oversees the organisation's finances, commercial strategy, and the discipline required to keep an independent certification authority sustainable without compromising its independence.

He is a BBA candidate at Wilfrid Laurier University, focused on finance and sales. His professional experience spans the institutions where financial analysis and risk meet real-world consequence. As a Financial Lines Underwriter on co-op at Chubb, he supported the underwriting of Directors & Officers liability for publicly traded companies across REITs, manufacturing, and aviation — evaluating equity valuations, governance exposure, and the financial resilience of issuers with market capitalisations from $10M to $100B. He has also worked as an M&A Analyst at BFL CANADA.

Oren brings to Ethicality a financial perspective grounded in how organisations are actually held accountable — by their balance sheets, their boards, and the markets that price their risk. His remit at Ethicality is to ensure the institution that certifies others is itself run to the standard it expects.

Ethicality is actively recruiting Heads of Certification, Ethics, and Communications. Enquiries: careers@ethicality.org
